Student Services

Ojibwa Indian School is committed to providing comprehensive student support through our guidance department, academic resources, and counseling services. Our goal is to provide students with the necessary assistance to thrive academically and in their personal development.
Guidance and Counseling Services
Our guidance team supports students by offering:
- Individual and group counseling to address personal and academic concerns.
- Mentorship for at-risk students to guide them toward success.
- Career and academic planning services to prepare students for high school and beyond.
- Administration of achievement tests and guidance on interpreting results.
Students must obtain a pass from their teacher before visiting the guidance office. A staff member must submit a referral form if counseling services are needed. Parents who opt out of in-school counseling must provide documentation of external counseling services.
Homework Support
Homework is a critical component of student success. We encourage parental involvement to promote accountability and responsibility in learning. Teachers assign structured homework to reinforce classroom instruction and support students in developing and maintaining strong study habits.
