Our transportation department is committed to providing a safe, quiet, and enjoyable experience for all students traveling to and from school and school-related activities.

Bus Change Requests

A temporary bus pass is required if a student needs to ride a bus other than their assigned one. To request a temporary pass:

  • Parents/guardians must provide written notice or call the school office by 2:00 p.m. on the same day.

Behavior Guidelines

To ensure a safe and respectful transportation experience, students are expected to follow these guidelines:

Be Respectful

  • Show courtesy to the driver and supervisors.
  • Treat older and younger students with respect.
  • Keep conversations quiet to maintain a calm environment.
  • Avoid physical contact with others.
  • Always use appropriate language.
  • Respect the cleanliness and condition of the bus by not littering or causing damage.

Be Safe

  • Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.
  • Use the handrail when boarding or disembarking.
  • Always remain seated while the bus is in motion.
  • Ensure all body parts are kept inside the bus.

Be Responsible

  • Arrive at your designated bus stop on time.
  • Sit in your assigned seat to maintain order.
  • Only ride your assigned bus and disembark at your designated location.

Conduct Expectations

Students must behave according to established classroom standards while riding the bus. Any incidents of misconduct will be addressed as follows:

  • Documentation and Notification
    • The bus driver or aide will record incidents.
    • The driver, transportation director, or administrative assistant will notify parents or guardians by phone or discipline report form.
    • Cooperation from parents or guardians will be requested to correct the student’s behavior.
  • Disciplinary Action
    • The transportation director may suspend students' bus riding privileges indefinitely in cases of severe or repeated misconduct.
    • Parents or guardians will then be responsible for arranging alternative transportation for their child.
